Your First Visit

An initial physical rehabilitation appointment takes about 90 minutes. The evaluation will include a thorough assessment of your pet, a treatment plan, and a home exercise program with instructions so you can begin the path to wellness quickly. We will walk you through all of the home exercises to make sure you feel confident helping your pet.

Follow-Up Visits

After the initial evaluation and the development of a treatment plan, follow-up visits are mostly treatment-based. For example, an appointment might include manual therapy, a cold laser session, acupuncture, and new exercises, depending on your pet’s needs. Appointments vary from about 30 to 60 minutes.  RMVR uses a team treatment structure with the doctors rounding on a daily basis.  This means that no matter who you see, that team member will be up to speed with your pet’s condition and treatment plan.  Dr. Fein serving as case manager for all patients. This means your follow-up visits may include time with our veterinarians, rehabilitation therapists, or a veterinary technician.
